We’re busy getting everything ready to welcome our students back with open arms and big smiles. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year ahead, filled with learning, laughter, and growth.
As we approach the start of the school year, we want to ensure everyone is well-prepared and informed. Please review the following key updates and policies:

- August 8th – 1st -5th grade. Teachers will email class lists by 4:00pm. Kindergarten list will not be available until August 14th.
- August 11th – 1st-5th grade Back to School Night/Supply Drop Off 4-5pm
- August 11th &12th – Kindergarten Assesments
- August 13th – 1st day of school: 1st – 5th grade
- August 14th – Kindergarten Back to School Night/Supply Drop Off 4-5pm
- August 13th/14th – Preschool Orientaion (see below for details)
- August 15th – 1st day of school: Kindergarten
- August 18th – 1st day of school: Preschool
- September 2nd – Picture Day
- September 3rd – Late Start

The first day of Preschool is Monday, August 18th!
Our Pre-K teachers are currently preparing welcome information for families, including detailed daily routines, classroom expectations, orientation information and and more. These updates will be shared on August 8th to help you and your child feel confident and prepared for the start of the school year.
Preschool Orientation
August 13th OR 14th.
Morning Class: 9am – 10am
Afernoon Class: 1pm – 2pm
Orientation is a great time to meet our teachers and see the classroom. Please choose one day to come within this time range, and stay as long or short as you would like – there’s not an expectation that you stay the whole time. It will be informal. It is a great time to meet the teacher and other students, ask questions, explore the classroom and complete any paperwork.
We are excited to offer a 5-day-a-week preschool program with both morning and afternoon sessions!
- AM Session: 8:50 – 11:30 AM
- PM Session: 12:40 – 3:20 PM
We can’t wait to welcome our youngest learners and begin a year filled with growth, discovery, and fun!

The 1st Day of Kindergarten is Friday, August 15th!
Our Kindergarten team is very excited to meet their new students at Kindergarten Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 14th at 4pm! It’s a great opportunity for families to visit classrooms, meet teachers, drop off school supplies and get ready for a fantastic year ahead.
Class assignments will be shared via email on Wednesday, August 13th by 4pm, please keep an eye on your inbox for a message from your child’s teacher.

Attendance and Registration News
Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Tanya Vigil, our new Attendance Clerk and Registrar!
Mrs. Vigil brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to supporting students, families, and staff. As our Attendance Clerk and Registrar, she will be your go-to person for all things related to student attendance and enrollment. You can reach Mrs. Vigil at [email protected] for help with:
- Student Attendance: Reporting absences, attendance questions, verifying attendance records, and addressing any attendance concerns.
- Student Enrollment & Withdrawals: Assisting families with registering new students or processing withdrawals.
- Student Records: Maintaining accurate student records and helping with transcript or record requests.
- General Support: Providing helpful information and guidance for families navigating school procedures.
We’re excited to have Mrs. Vigil on our team and look forward to the great work she’ll do in supporting our school community!

Health Office Announcements
Medication Drop Off
All emergency and daily medications can be dropped off to our health clerk, Christina Haid, during back to school night. Please bring the medications in their original packaging with the orders signed from your doctor. If you need a copy of the required documents or you have any questions please email [email protected]
Student Fees & Payments
We kindly ask families to pay their student fees and field trip/activity payments through Infinite Campus, RevTrak, or by check.
The school does not accept cash or have a credit card machine.
If you are a returning family and haven’t activated your Infinite Campus account yet, please contact the school office.
New families will receive an automated email on August 21st once Infinite Accounts are active. Keep an eye out for a ShoutPoint reminder as access will be time sensitive.
LTP Student iPad Insurance Program
The LTP Student iPad Insurance window for the 2025-2026 school year opens August 1st and closes on September 15th. Parents who wish to join the insurance pool for this year must make at least a partial payment within this window.
This insurance fee will be added for every eligible K-12 student on August 1st. Please note that any student with an unpaid balance for iPad insurance from the previous year will not be eligible to join the pool this year until their previous balance is paid in full.
2025-2026 LTP Student iPad Insurance: $25
The iPad insurance fee will be waived for homeless students as defined by McKinney-Vento and reduced for students eligible for a free or reduced-price lunch. To be eligible for a reduced fee, guardians must waive their rights to privacy regarding this information through Nutrition Services. Please contact Nutrition Services with any questions about eligibility for reduced fees.
