Bio

I am thrilled to join this amazing team at Highlands Elementary School. I look forward to the many adventures that teaching Kindergarten will bring this year! I’m passionate about working with our youngest learners in their first year of Elementary school. I strive to create a fun and positive classroom, designed to foster a love of learning in every student. This will be my 15th year teaching and I am excited to make this the best year yet! I grew up in Longmont, Colorado and am a graduate of the St. Vrain Valley School District. I earned my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado. My husband and I have three wonderful children together, ages 7, 5 and 6 months. I love spending time with my family going on bike rides, walks, playing sports and exploring all that beautiful Colorado has to offer!
