St. Vrain has always been home for me—I grew up here as a student, and now I feel blessed to be teaching in this amazing district for over a decade. I am so grateful to be part of the Highlands community and honored to serve as the Significant Support Needs (SSN) teacher. My passion is helping students shine by giving them the tools and support they need to reach their fullest potential.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Special Education (generalist) from the University of Northern Colorado and recently completed my Master’s in Moderate to Severe Special Education through Grand Canyon University. Over the years, I’ve found my heart in teaching students who thrive with more individualized support and care.
Outside of school, I live in Northern Colorado with my husband and our three kids—one serving in the Navy, one in middle school, and one in elementary school. As a family, we love being outdoors as much as possible. You can usually find us swimming, fishing, gardening, or cheering on our kids in their activities!
