My name is Lydia Gomez and I am so thrilled to be rejoining the Highlands family! I have worked with kiddos for over 15 years in a variety of settings from coaching to clinical. I just wrapped up my first year of teaching at Altona Middle School as the SSN Teacher. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked at Highlands as a Director in Hawks Nest, co-manager for Community Schools summer camp, and as a paraprofessional with the kindergarten team. I am overjoyed to be returning to Highlands as a Special Education Teacher for the '26-'27 school year and beyond!🤗
