Choosing a school for your student is an important personal step in charting their future path. Neighborhood School Enrollment
New student registration is required if:
- You are registering at your neighborhood school
- You are registering at a charter school
- You have been approved on open enrollment
Highlands School Boundaries
School boundaries for Highlands Elementary were determined by the Board of Education at the Feb. 10, 2021 Board of Education Session. The Erie Parkway will serve as the boundary dividing line. Students north of Erie Parkway will continue to attend Soaring Heights PK-8. Students to the south of Erie Parkway will be within the Highlands Elementary boundaries. St. Vrain Valley Schools is a district of choice and we support your family’s decision to choose the best fit for your child’s educational needs.

Open Enrollment
Open enrollment is required if:
- You wish for your student to attend a school other than your neighborhood school
Preschool Registration
Preschoolers must be three or four years of age on or before October 1 to enroll.
